Great photo!
Thanks you!
Three in the beak! Such a pretty bird! Happy New Year! Koko
And his pouch was packed full too! And a Happy New Year to you as well. 🙂
Smart bird! 🙂 I’m keeping my fingers crossed for an awesome 2016! All the best to you! Koko
WOW WOW WOW I love Bird!
Blue Jays tend to get that bully reputation, but I can’t help but love them. Their personality just shines through!
I love your Blue Jays Kathy, their beautiful blue, black and white patterning and how amazingly they fill their mouths with peanuts!
They really are fascinating to watch. I am always glad when they show up…which is pretty much whenever I put out more peanuts!
Thanks for making me smile, Kathy! 🙂
My pleasure!
One of our Blue Jays did the same thing, taking four peanuts one after the other before looking around guiltily and flying away.
I have seen them pack away a about ten at a time. They fascinate me!
What a capture, three seeds in a beak! Well done, Kathy! 🙂
I have to laugh when I look at my Blue Jay pictures because they almost always have a peanut in their beak!
I don’t blame them, I love peanuts too, lol. I am still trying to get a beautiful capture of a Blue Jay, so far I’ve only photographed them at a far distance.
Lol! Oh those Blue Jays! 🙂
Now that it’s getting colder, mine have been showing up more often. And boy do they let me know when I don’t have the peanuts out!
Oh they are piggies with wings, lol!
A very appropriate description!
Blue jays are too much. (K)
You can’t help but love them!
I know. They have spirit.
What beautiful birds they are! I had 11 in my backyard the other day (I live in St. John’s, Newfoundland). Great photo! If you feel like cruising over and checking out another bird nerd’s adventure, have a look at my blog: http://www.inkfromthequill.com
Thanks for stopping by. I cruised over to your blog and loved your snowy owl post. 🙂
