Can’t Get Enough

When I set out a spread of seed, the peanuts are always the first to go. The birds just can’t get enough of them!

Little birds swoop in, like this Tufted Titmouse…

…and then swoop away with their peanut prize, like this Carolina Chickadee.

Red-bellied Woodpeckers make trip after trip, clearly taking them away to stash for another time.

And Blue Jays, well, I’ve already shared in previous posts how much these big beauties can pack away the peanuts!

The backyard birds love the peanuts and can’t get enough of them, and I love the backyard birds and can’t get enough of THEM! I guess everyone feels like they’re getting the better end of the deal!

  1. Wonderful shots. 💜

I always have peanuts in the shell with me on my neighborhood doggy walks. I give them in the shell to any crow friends who see me and toss a couple without to the yard chickens a neighbor down the road has. And the tits love the peanut feeder in the yard. I guess peanuts def are a hit with so many of our feathered friends.
