The Hue of Happiness

I think yellow should officially be renamed the “hue of happiness”! It is such a joy-filled color!

And, lucky for me, I am blessed to have an abundant supply of it during the summer months.

There are vibrant backyard blossoms…

..beautiful butterflies, like these two Tiger Swallowtails…

…and bathing beauties, like this lovely Summer Tanager!

Yellow just makes the world a better, brighter place!

  1. I have only seen one swallowtail butterfly at my zinnias so far this summer. I know, you said to wait everything is late. But we had two nights of horrible storms, and so much has been flattened….I still have zinnias standing though…so I have hope!

I did write about the bagpipe parade in Kincardine, I think the post up now is about the stars at the campground MacGregor, but the one before that is the parade. Thank you again for your post about that town. We had such a good time and wouldn’t have even known about it without you!

    1. It made me so happy that you went!
I saw and totally the bagpipe post. Pretty sure I left a comment, but I could be wrong- life here has been a bit crazy.
I do hope some Swallowtails find their way to your flowers!
