I’m not exactly sure why, but birds tend to visit our backyard fountain more frequently in the fall than in any other season. To say that it has been a popular place lately would be an understatement! I’ve gotten great enjoyment out of watching them splash about, and I figured you might too, so I thought, “Why not just do a series of posts with pictures of bathing birds?”
So, first to be featured in the “Bathing Bonanza” series is the Tufted Titmouse. We have tons of these little cuties flitting about right now, and as soon as one makes a beeline for the fountain, the others do too.
Here’s three photos from the birdbath…

…and three from the fountain.

I love their wet-feathered look. Aren’t they delightful?
Stay tuned for another bathing beauty in the days ahead!
This is very cute. Grateful that you’ve decided to start the series ‘Bathing Bonanza’. Can’t wait to see more pictures of the many such cute little birds that come to visit your backyard fountain. Thank you for sharing!
Glad to have you joining along!
I am excited to say I just this year identified these guys among the little cheepers in my backyard!
They are such social little birds!
Bath time seems to be a happy time for them!
Very happy!
Splish-Splash! I was taking a bath, yeh, yeh, yeh….. Thanks for sharing the pure fun, Kathy!
And now I shall be singing that all night! đŸ˜‚
