There’s a bit of a Hummingbird battle taking place in my yard…well, two battles actually.
First, there are these two fierce females battling over the zinnia blossoms.
And then, there’s me, battling to get a good shot at one of these fast flyers! They don’t make it easy!
I’m having to settle for photos with busy backgrounds and bright lighting, but hey, the battle’s not over yet!
Hopefully I’ll get several more photo sessions over the course of the summer season, and hopefully the male will decide to hang around too – though these feisty females might be making him nervous!
