A few months ago, I introduced you to “Walker Hayes” – a Canon R7 body paired with a 100-500mm lens that is now my go-to wildlife combo.
Well, now I’d like you to meet “Lola” – a Canon R6 Mark II body paired with a 24-105mm f4 lens. I’m thinking she will be my “everyday life” combo.
I’ve been trying to simplify the photography gear that I have, as well as upgrade a bit, so I sold all the old camera bodies and lenses I had bought over the years and now have two bodies and two lenses that can go on any outing and fit in the same camera bag.
Anyway, I’ve taken Lola out a few times now and am having fun getting to know her. I’m finding she’s good with pets…

…with flowers..

…with friendly faces…

…and with pretty places.
I love that I have A LOT to learn about how these mirrorless camera bodies work. Honestly though, it’s fun to be stretched beyond my current comfort zone and grow beyond my current ability. So stay-tuned for more future photos from these new camera combos!

Sorry, I’m going to repeat myself, again, again,…
Your photos are poetry!
Thanks!
Looks like a great new companion!!
I really am enjoying it!
