In lieu of backyard birds, I thought I’d post pictures of my favorite flock of turkeys.

Turkey #1 is my girlie – who happens to be a kindred spirit and one of my very best friends. She is always game to share an adventure!

Turkey #2 is my son – he is a fellow sports fanatic and someone who has often been an inspiration to me.

Turkey #3 is my handsome hubby – after 26 years of marriage, he is “still the one.”  He makes me smile and loves me well, in spite of my quirks!

And later, my Mom and Dad (two turkeys who have enriched my life in ways that words could never say) will be joining us to laugh, feast on food, and make more memories.
