Well, we just moved in to our new house two days ago and our first priorities were to put up our Christmas tree (lights, but no decorations) and to put out a bird feeder. Since mine were still boxed up, we picked one up from Home Depot and put out some seed so the birds would get a preview of coming attractions.
Right away, a steady stream of Chickadees started dropping in…
…as did a flurry of Tufted Titmice.
A White-breasted Nuthatch…
…a handsome Pine Warbler…
…and a beautiful Eastern Bluebird also made an appearance.
I can already tell I’m going to love it here!
Backyard Bird Nerd 
Oh my. The eyes on those titmice are something to behold.
And the Titmice here are unusually bold!
Wow! It’s going to be wonderful!! These birds don’t know it, but they hit the jackpot!
I am so excited!
