It seems like the fountain has been filled with yellow-feathered birds lately.
Like this Tennessee Warbler, who sat in the shallows…

…while this Black-throated Green Warbler waited for his turn on the sidelines.

A pair of female Scarlet Tanagers also showed up to enjoy a quick dip in the upper level.

But the lovely lady that lingered the longest was this Summer Tanager.

She took her time and enjoyed a thorough soaking.

I’m wondering if she was taking advantage of one last splash in the fountain before heading farther south for the winter because I haven’t seen her again since.
I’m convinced that if you want birds to come to your backyard, just add water!
So, so cute!
Add water, peanut butter and seeds!

a little spa!
What a beautiful spot for birds to bathe. Did you build it yourself?
My hubby built it this time last year. π
Amazing!
We have often said that the bird bath is just as popular as our feeders around here. But I think it would be even more attractive if I had one where the water moves. I love your little yellow birds!
The running water does lure them, not to mention how peaceful it sounds when youβre sitting outside.
