Yesterday afternoon, I took a break to go outside with my camera for a bit, and this winsome Yellow-rumped Warbler showed up to keep me company.

He didn’t seem concerned with my presence (probably because he watched me fill the feeders!) but he sure whipped his head around to keep an eye on the Pine Warblers that were swooping about.

Every once in awhile he would just tilt his head and look at me with the cutest curious expression.

I love these little butter butts!
So very sweet.
I would need an ambulance if I tried to turn my head that far around! Aside from being winsome he’s also quite limber!
I can barely turn my head to the left or the right!
Il est très mignon.
I had to look that up, but I agree!
As an old French major, every now & then I can’t resist un bon mot.
and there I go, running to the translator again!
As an old French major, every now & then I can’t resist dropping un bon mot.
Excuse moi, Kathy. I already said that yesterday.
I wish my neck was as flexible! ;D
I know, right!
They are cute little birds Kathy, very similar to our Thornbill which we have a yellow rumped variety also.
I love that their personality matches their cuteness!
adorable!!!
Agreed!
I have lots of these cuties and they love being curious! Great shots!!
There’s just something endearing about them.
Hey Hi Kathy, I am back after a hiatus break. So good to see your lovely birds popping in my feed.
Welcome back! Good to hear from you!
