A Bit of Bird Boasting: A Tiny Treat

I’ve already shared about the Grosbeaks that popped in when I was visiting with my Mom a few days ago, and how the Blue Grosbeak was a first time capture for me. Well, I was treated to another first-time-photo that day – a tiny Cape May Warbler just passing through on its way north.

This one was fun to try and photograph because it was small and barely sat still for a second. I felt a sense of accomplishment just getting him in a shot or two before he flew off!

I love the markings on this fellow! It really was a treat to have him stop by!

    1. I had no idea what it was when I was snapping pictures. I had to wait til I downloaded them to figure out what kind of bird this yellow blur was!
