Treasures Along the Trail

When you’re walking along a trail, you never know what treasures you’re going to find on the journey.

Like the other day, walking along nearby Lake Allatoona, I was treated to some Palm Warblers rustling about in the overhead branches – a bird that I don’t typically see in my backyard.

Then, farther down by the lake, a goose emerged with not one gosling…

…and not two goslings…

…but with three little fuzzy balls of feathers following her about.

But do you know what is better than finding a treasure along the trail?
It’s the treasure of a good friend to walk the trail with! (And the ones that will walk the trails with you will surely walk the trials too!)

This gal is one of those friends that’s more like family…and she’s quickly becoming a pretty good spotter, so I think I’ll keep her around!

  1. It is so much nicer when we can share our experiences with friends, and we have found many to be great spotters as your friend 😊
