Oh Deer!

Part of our backyard, just beyond the fence-line, is a wooded area where the deer and the antelope play.

Okay…no antelope…but a steady stream of neighborhood deer can be found there.

The only time I exclaim their name is when they show up in the early morning hours and our chocolate lab mix loudly (and persistently!) protests their presence.

But they know she can’t reach them, so they typically just glance her way and then go on grazing.

They really are lovely.
