A Perfect Pairing

Some things just pair perfectly together –
like chips and salsa,
bread and butter,
fall and football,
and Brown-headed Nuthatches with my new feeder!

Let’s start with the new feeder.

And now, the Brown-headed Nuthatches that pair so perfectly with it.

Wait, did I say Brown-headed Nuthatch? I meant White-breasted Nuthatch!

Hold on, make that a Northern Cardinal.

My bad, I meant a Carolina Chickadee…

…or a Tufted Titmouse.

Or perhaps it’s the Pine Warbler that pairs perfectly!

Well, I think you get the idea! The new feeder, which came courtesy of the folks at Kingsyard, is a hit. The birds like it, and I do too!

I like it because it’s cute, it’s squirrel resistant, and it keeps the seed protected.
The birds like it because I have it stuffed with sunflower seeds and peanuts (some of their favorite fare) and they have easy places to perch while they pilfer!

I’ve only had the feeder out for a few days, so stay tuned for more “perfect pairings” in the weeks ahead! And if you happen to want a fresh new feeder for fall, I’d say this is a good one to consider.

    1. Oh my goodness. I hope you get the chance to hang out with some of these little Brown-headed beauties…they are so much fun. Honestly, one of my favorites. And I hope you like the new feeder!
