Hubby and I decided to dine out over the weekend…out on the deck that is.
It was one of those days where the weather was picture perfect and it was just too pretty to be inside, so we sat outside and ate our subs and just enjoyed the beauty around us. Including the beauty of this male Cardinal who stopped in for a bath.
He was sitting and soaking…
…and thrashing and splashing…
…and just looking all around stunning!
I have to say, to me it was the epitome of fine dining!

My favorite kind of dining. Outside. We’re still too cold to do that. And I have a problem in that I don’t have a table and dining chairs on my deck, mostly because there are so many birds that anything I put out there gets…um….decorated by them. I wonder how people have nice things on decks and realize they probably don’t feed the birds!
The outdoor decor can get a bit interesting!
