Backseat Birds

This past month I’ve been spending time with family…

…celebrating my daughter’s recent engagement…

…and enjoying (and adjusting to!) having two labra-mutts in the house.

In the midst of that, birds have taken a bit of a backseat; but I’ve still managed to capture some shots of a few fine-feathered-feasters here and there.

Pine Warbler

Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Brown Thrasher

Carolina Wren

Downy Woodpecker

Red-bellied Woodpecker

I hope your holiday is blessed with the things that matter most and filled with reasons to give thanks!

Thank you for sharing your family photos. I can’t get over how much your children look like our friends’ children out in Calgary. They’d be older (in their 30s) but the likeness is uncanny.
