This cute little Chipping Sparrow took advantage of a sun-shiny afternoon by hopping in the fountain to enjoy a leisurely spring splash!
After a good bit of wing flapping, tail fanning, and head diving…
…he popped out of the water…
…then poofed and primped on the border rocks.
I’d say that his dip in the fountain left him looking quite dapper!
While watching this little bird bathe, I saw a female Summer Tanager fly by in the distance. Here’s hoping she stops in for a spring splash too!
