When it comes to munching on peanuts, a lot of my backyard birds have the grab-and-go approach, and could definitely be classified as “quick culprits.” Well, my backyard Blue Jays are also peanut partakers, only they tend to linger at the feeder because they are not content to take just one!
They typically land on an overhead branch to size-up the competition..

…then swoop down and greedily help themselves.


Of course, when they do decide it’s time to leave, they are gone in a flash!

At the rate these guys gobble up the peanuts, I really should buy stock in Planters!
