The “Three F’s” of Baby Birds

I walked out on my deck yesterday and counted nine baby bluebirds perched on various rails and branches.  It was clear they were youngsters because they displayed the “Three F’s” of baby birds.  I know the curiosity is killing you.  You’re asking yourself, “What could those “Three F’s” be?”  Well have no fear, I have no intention of leaving you dangling in suspense! The “Three F’s” are…

FUZZY FEATHERS

FRANTIC FLAPPING

FUSSING FOR FOOD

Let’s do it again!  Ready? (Really we’re just doing this because I had more pictues I wanted to put in!)

Despite being loud and demanding, these little ones are a delight to watch.  But it’s easy for me to say that since it’s not my job to frantically fly from one to the next delivering food!
