Seeing and Sharing Glory

“The two most important days in your life
are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”

Mark Twain

When I read this quote, I thought to myself, “I was born to write this blog.”  And I’m only half kidding!

Honestly, I feel like I am on this earth to experience and enjoy the glory of God and then to share that glory with others. And since God often reveals Himself through the beauty of creation, blogging about that beauty becomes an overflow of my life purpose.

Take Eastern Bluebirds for instance. They are absolutely glorious. It’s hard to look at them without marveling at their beauty.  For me, it also makes me marvel at the beauty of the One who made them.

Not only are they captivating, these birds are also incredibly expressive. Just look at the three pictures below. What words would you use to describe his expressions?

I’d have to say curious…bossy…and then slightly perturbed.

The female bluebird is lovely too, her beauty is just more on the subtle side. I’m hoping  they will both be frequent visitors during the winter months and pose for many more pictures.

Seeing and sharing glory…thanks for being a part of letting me live out my life purpose in such a fun way.
