Better Together

Some foods just go better together, wouldn’t you agree?
Like burgers and fries.
And chips and dip.
And peanut butter and jelly.
And worms and Bark Batter.

Well…I haven’t actually tried that last combination, but I have it on good authority that it is quite tasty!
Several times over the course of the last week, a Robin has shown up at the feeders with a worm dangling from his beak.

He then hops over to the Bark Butter and scoops up a generous portion to go with his freshly caught food.

He (or she) has never eaten on site, but carries this combination off to enjoy it elsewhere.

Perhaps it is being taken as a nutritious treat for a baby Robin to enjoy, or perhaps this bird simply enjoys his fast food to go.  Whatever the reason, I find him delightful to watch.

A beautiful bird Cathy, perhaps its asking for a bit of live variety in the feeder?
