Well, yesterday I posted “Three for the Third” – so today it only seemed right to head back to the front yard and share “Four for the Fourth.”
Two are visitors that weren’t around yesterday, like this male Tiger Swallowtail…

…and this Long-tailed Skipper.

And two are repeat visitors that seemed worth sharing again. A Hummingbird Moth…

…and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

Both of these fast, fidgety flyers are challenging to get clear shots of, but it is so much fun trying!
Great photos, and some really interesting butterflies/moths!
Definitely fun!!
Nice shots!
Hi Kathy
Your images look so clear and balanced. Very nice.
Would you mind sharing what lens(es) you use please?
Thank you in advance and keep shooting great bird photos.
Thank you! I am using a Canon 100-400mm lens on a 90D camera body. I love this combo!
Hummingbird moths are so bizarre. They used to freak me out as a kid, I thought they were some kind of bee! Nice photos btw.
I was a little scared the first time I saw one too. I googled “humming bee” to find out what it was!
