Tiny but tenacious – that would be an apt description for the Tufted Titmice that visit my backyard.

These little birds (which come in at #20 in the Thirty-Bird Challenge) love grabbing peanuts from the feeders…

…taking dips in the fountain…

…and just sitting and singing in the treetops.

Titmice typically get along well with others, unless of course you threaten their young, then you will quickly see their more tenacious side!
They have a gentle beauty about them and are always a welcome visitor in my backyard!
So cute!
They are one of my favourite. Haven’t seen them where I live, but golly they are cute!
I love how curious they are!
Lively little birds! 🙂 Since the advent of warmer weather, ours have been calling up a storm!
They are lively. I feel like my backyard has little blurs of grey darting about.
I am always amused by their “bed head” look! It’s endearing.
They do have a bed head look!
They are one of my favorites. So brave. They have come down to pull hair off my head and have tried to get fur off the dog too
Whenever I brush Chaco I leave the fur for them. 🙂
They look so sweet!
They are sweet and sassy!
I see some other commentors mentioning losing hair to them! :-O
So very pretty!
I agree!
