A female Purple Finch made an appearance in the backyard the other day.
She is not flashy like her raspberry colored counterpart (who didn’t decide to join her on this occasion), but is still quite lovely in her earthy tones.
Some might look at her and label her as plain, but I look at her and say she’s just plain pretty!
