April 12, 2016 Pretty In Pink This sweet Cardinal was perched among the Rhododendron blossoms. I’d say these are definitely “Birds and Blooms” photos! She looked so lovely just sitting there. 🙂
A really pretty picture Kathy, one of those would look great framed or done on canvas print for your wall!
I am hoping one of my artist friends will give it a go!
Fabulous capture and image!
This is GORGEOUS!!
A lovely lady in a lovely setting. I was so happy she sat still long enough for a photo. 🙂
WOW! This is stunning!!! Bird and Blooms!
Amazing, just like he posed for you.
You just never know what you’ll get when you stand outside with your camera!
Female cardinals are so much more skittish than the males, they tend to fly off quicker in my experience. These are great shots of a difficult bird.
Mine are especially skittish right now, as the males are being so aggressive with one another as mating season approaches.
Beautiful shots! Nice Birds and Blooms reference!! That was the first magazine I probably ever read as a child and one I wish I had today.
I was glad she sat still and posed long enough for a couple photos. 🙂
