I had a request for another lighthearted limerick, so how about we let the Bluebird be our featured guest?
If the bluebird so cheerfully sings
and brings happiness in on his wings

How do you explain
his looks of disdain?

Perhaps it is merely mood swings!

Kathy, thses pictures are wonderful, so many expression. May I use these images as reference for a drawing of a row of birds? I want to put a fancy jacket on each bird. Lovely post!
But of course – I’d be honored! π
Great, thank you. I think I’ll make it my post for the end of the week.
Great shots.
Thank you. π
Beautiful photos of a pretty bird!
He is a handsome fellow indeed!
I do love your ‘birds in blue’ more than the others Kathy, in your fair land, especially the bluebird and blue jay:-)
I am partial to them as well!
Oh but he is so charming, no matter his expression π β€
I must agree!
Just love your limericks! πππ And your bird’s expressions are priceless! π¦π€π¦
Glad you enjoyed!
Cute limerick, Kathy! And your photos are gorgeous, such great detail! π
