I think my backyard birds must like their breakfast sunny side up…or at least as soon as the sun is up!
These guys showed up at first morning light to grab a bite to eat.
I couldn’t decide which picture of the Nuthatch I liked better, so I will just share them both.
I love the warm glow of the early light. I guess there’s a reason they call these the golden hours for photography!

I can actually feel the warmth of the morning light. What an inviting place you have for all these lovely friends.
It is rare that I have good lighting in my backyard, with all the shade and trees and canopies of leaves, but this light was perfect!
