I so enjoyed watching this female Cardinal in the birdbath the other day.

She started with some serene soaking…

…then progressed to some serious splashing…

…and ended up putting on a spectacular show!

Every once in awhile, she would pause and just sit there as if she knew, without a doubt, that she looked undeniably (and irresistibly) gorgeous!

I’d say she was well aware that I was watching her, but in reality, she was well aware of another watcher – this handsome fellow below, who showed up with a food offering as a token of his affection.

She accepted the food, and then went back to her bathing, giving him a free shower on the sideline!

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – Who needs Netflix when you can go outside and enjoy such fun entertainment?!
