I can’t believe it’s the last day of Splash Week.  We’ll wrap things up with the Brown Thrasher, the state bird here in Georgia.  This fellow does not seem at all particular about where he bathes.  I have pictures of him in the fountain…

but today’s post will be a series of him splashing about in the clay dish (an idea I borrowed from HJ over at Avian101) that seems to be a favorite bathing spot for many of the birds.

As we bid a fond farewell to Splash Week, may I just say that I have had a blast posting these pictures.  I hope they have made you smile.
