I had fun watching the Blue Jays discover the peanuts I had hidden in the hollow end of the branch. These birds are clever!
I’m hoping you are a Field Of Dreams fan and caught the reference to the film in the title. My husband and I have seen this movie so many times that its lines have become engrained in our everyday dialogue. Routinely we throw out phrases like “some kind of team sport” or “it’s a nice field, Ray” or “that’s not a gun, it’s your finger!” And if asked the question, “What do you want?” the answer is always “A beer and a dog.” In fact, outside of The Princess Bride, we probably quote from this movie more than any other.

Great post Kathy, love that you are enjoying your birds and life together with the one you love. We also enjoyed Princess Bride as a family years ago, but do not quote movies as much as you both do. Having fun together is such an important key to good marriage.
Well, I think I’ve probably said “I’ve got a bad feeling about this..” about a million times more than Han Solo ever did! 😉
My problem is that most of my favorite quotes come from classic movies, which most people I know aren’t into and so it flies right by them, LOL
