Hip hip hooray…the rain has gone away And I, for one, am joyfully celebrating the return of the sun!
My backyard birds also seem glad for its reappearance.
This Chickadee was one visitor who stopped by, first to feast on some fresh, dry seed…
…and then to frolic in the newly filled water dish.
He had a grand time splashing about, and I had an equally grand time, standing in the afternoon sunshine, savoring its brightness and soaking up its warmth.

There seem to be a lot of these little guys in my backyard right now. They really are sweet.
