We’ve all heard the rhyme “Red skies at morning, sailors take warning”…but what about red wings at morning?
Something about the brightness of the morning sun combined with the brilliance of this male Cardinal is hope stirring to me.
From the look on his face, I’m pretty sure this fellow thinks “blue wings at morning” would have been a far better post!
But hey, he’s been the star enough lately!

Both amazing birds, we have nothing like the cardinal in our part of Australia.
