I know I have already posted pictures of the male and female Summer Tanagers enjoying the backyard fountain, but they keep showing up which means I keep snapping pictures to share. Honestly, I never get tired of seeing them, so I hope you don’t get bored either! Just think of this post as a bit of bonus beauty!

The male Tanager stopped by one afternoon while hubby was watering the grass near the fountain, so he first helped himself to a sprinkler shower…

…and then made his way for a dip in the water. He is such a gorgeous guy!

The female came and gave her feathers a thorough soaking in one of the birdbaths. Here’s three pictures of her…

Of all the birds that have shown up over this past month, the Tanagers have definitely been my favorites. I think I shall dub them my Septembirds!
