I promised Jill over at Jill’s Art Journal that I would post a picture of a Carolina Chickadee. It goes along with her post for today, which displays a lovely watercolor painting she did of two Black-capped Chickadees.
The dapper little bird posing for this picture dropped in for a drink a couple of weeks ago. Not only is he handsome, but he has a good personality too! This cheerful chirper is always welcome in my backyard.
